A#2 Still Life Photos

This is the fist photo from our still life assignment. This photo shows stuff that I like to do. One of my favorite things to do is skateboard. This photos has lots of good values from dark to light. The photos main focus is on the wheel in the back ground. 

This is the second photo from the still life assignment. This is the best photo from the assignment. It is in very good focus and has a very good range of values. I like this photo because the fruit moves in a trail and gives you a good point to focus on the picture.

A#1 Scavenger Hunt Photos

This is a picture of the side of my fathers shop. I chose this picture because it shows a linear pattern. The picture is a little gray but this is because my developer printed my pictures grey.

This is a picture looking upa tree in the breezeway. This picture shows lots of texture and valus. the sky is completely white and parts of the tree are absolute black. There is a large rande of value in between. 

Photography Excitement

The most exiting thing about photography this year to me had been learning how to use an enlarger and create your final photo. My photos have been coming out grey so I have been learning how to manipulate the enlarger to make the photos have more black in them.
The hardest part about photography is developing the negatives. To me is is a very nerve racking process and you never know if it is going to work. I have had film that has not developed and i had to re-take all of my photos again. It was quite annoying, but they developed and you feel accomplished.
